Around this time - 2 yrs, 7 mos. - Liam involuntarily 'gave up' his pacifier. He was only getting it at nap and bedtime. One night it was 'lost' and then it was lost forever. He had around a week of sleep disturbances (odd things) but he never really cried over losing it. He has asked for it randomly in the weeks after, but drops the subject quickly. That was easier than we had anticipated!
